3. Diagnostic Policy and Estimates
We operate on a diagnostic-first model. Initial consultations or phone conversations provide preliminary estimates based upon the information provided by the customer. However, final binding estimates require on-site inspection by our licensed technicians to assess specific plumbing infrastructure, access points, pipe materials, and underlying causes. All estimates provided prior to work commencement require customer authorization.
4. Customer Responsibilities
The customer is responsible for providing safe, clear, and unobstructed access to the work area, main water shutoff valves, cleanout locations, and utility connections. The customer must notify technicians of any pre-existing structural issues, hazardous materials, or hidden fixtures prior to the commencement of work.
5. Payment Terms and Emergency Dispatch
Payment for completed plumbing services is due upon project completion unless prior written commercial billing arrangements have been established. We accept major credit cards, electronic payments, and checks. Emergency plumbing dispatch fees or after-hours charges will be clearly disclosed prior to dispatching a technician.
6. Workmanship and Manufacturer Warranties
Provo Fix warrants all labor and workmanship for a designated period from the completion date. Fixtures, water heaters, pumps, valves, and materials installed by Provo Fix carry their respective manufacturer warranties. Warranties do not cover damage caused by customer misuse, unauthorized third-party modifications, extreme weather events, frozen pipes resulting from unheated property exposure, or severe municipal water pressure surges.
7. Limitation of Liability
Provo Fix shall not be held liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from plumbing failures beyond our direct scope of work, pre-existing structural decay, unmapped underground utilities, or municipal supply interruptions.
8. Governing Law and Modifications
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah. Provo Fix reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Updated terms become effective immediately upon posting.
